Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz announced that the ALC (Automatic Lane Change) feature will enter the North American market this year, while SAE Level 3 conditional automated driving will debut in Nevada and California later this year.

BMW: First Concept Car Built on the New Platform

At this year's CES show, BMW Group unveiled the BMW i Digital Emotional Interaction Concept Car (Dee). The significance of introducing this concept car lies in its ability to forge an even stronger connection between people and vehicles.

BMW’s innovative e-ink design comes in up to 32 different colors—allowing not only the car body to change hues and display various patterns, but even the wheel rims can be customized. It delivers a stunning visual experience that truly catches the eye. And inside the vehicle? Not a single physical button in sight.

Dee’s entire windshield can double as a display—allowing all the information normally shown on the traditional instrument cluster or the central touchscreen to now be projected onto it, delivering various levels of augmented reality. Additionally, thanks to Shy Tech sensors discreetly embedded in the dashboard, drivers can even personally customize the digital content displayed on the HUD.

Modern Mobis Concept Car

Modern Mobis has unveiled its new PBV concept models, the M.Vision TO and M.Vision HI, for the first time. The M.Vision TO is an autonomous vehicle powered by an electrified system, featuring integrated cameras, radar, LiDAR, electronic corner modules, and an MR (mixed reality) display across four pillars—two at the front and two at the rear of the vehicle.

New integrated technologies combine autonomous driving sensors, electronic corner modules for independent steering and maneuvering, and advanced systems like MR displays—all seamlessly embedded into the vehicle frame. With this groundbreaking technology, Hyundai Mobis will expand the possibilities of purpose-driven mobility, delivering features tailored specifically to drivers' needs.

Audi Unveils a Brand-New In-Car VR Experience

During the 2023 CES show, Audi unveiled its in-car VR experience called "Experience Rides," featuring a brand-new in-vehicle VR kit developed by Holoride installed on shuttle vehicles. Throughout the event, Audi’s e-tron and e-tron Sportback models will be showcased on local roads, with the VR kits positioned in the rear seats of these vehicles.

It is reported that, with this VR equipment, passengers can enjoy an immersive VR driving experience—and even synchronize the game interface with the vehicle's movements. Officials say this kind of experience can also help reduce users' risk of motion sickness.

Chrysler Synthesis Digital Cockpit

Chrysler Synthesis's new interior concept made its debut at CES 2023, featuring a single 37.2-inch-long screen spanning across the driver’s instrument panel and center console, powered by Stellantis' latest infotainment system—known as the STLA Smart Cockpit.

Chrysler Synthesis's interior design concept encompasses three key layers of the STLA electric vehicle platform: STLA Smart Cockpit (the intelligent cockpit system), STLA Brain (for over-the-air system updates), and STLA AutoDrive (an advanced driver-assistance system capable of Level 3 autonomy).
